A bicycle ride offers experiences for both body and soul. The long haul to the hilltop is rewarded with a breathtaking view when you eagerly pedal on to discover what is lying ahead. Freewheeling downhill, the scent from wildflowers along the road mixes with the birds’ chirping and the sensuous experiences really make an imprint.
An ice cream or a cold beer tastes particularly good after physical exertion. It’s important to take well-earned breaks, if you run into a little ”headwind” along the ride.
The world looks different from a bicycle-saddle. Covering mile after mile you experience nature and landscape at close range. Riding a bicycle you have access to alternative roads, tracks and paths which offer experiences and surprises.
Join Ebeltoft bicycle guides for a nature and cultural bicycle tour every Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. all year round. Meeting point: Ebeltoft/Mols Tourist Office, S. A. Jensens Vej 3, Ebeltoft.

The bicycle paths following the closed-down railway sections goes through the landscape and pass the railway towns along the way. The paths are child-friendly as the long stretches are situated away from the main roads and – at the same time, are flat or only with minor gradients.
Djursland has two railway paths:
Gjerrildbanestien from Gjerrild via Ryomgård to Allingåbro approx. 65 km.
Gravlevstien from Ebeltoft to Gravlev is approx. 8 km.
